Hi all,

I just released Bluefish 2.2.1:

Bluefish 2.2.1 is mostly a bug fix release, but it has one major new
feature: Zencoding support (requires python). The bug fixes include a
fix to build on Gtk+-2.22, many translations are better up-to-date, a
fix for PCRE regular expression searching, several layout fixes for
Gtk+-3.2, several obscure segfault fixes, a fix for autocompletion of
variables in PHP, <img> dialog fixes, and some memory-leak fixes.

Get it from http://www.bennewitz.com/bluefish/stable/source/

Download & have fun!

Oliver,

Happy Holidays to all. Great to see the stable release. Who's normally is
doing the Windows distribution?

I wonder if I can quickly learn to compile in the M$-Windows environment
from source and then learn to do a slick Windows installer package?

Do you have regular schedule or milestone map for development releases
online?

Cheers

The Windows builds are up. There are now two installers; the default
Bluefish-2.2.1-setup.exe now installs a private copy of GTK 2.24.8.
The -classic version is still built with 2.14.7 and is provided
primarily for Windows 2000 support. These installers don't currently
include the new Zencoding plugin.

can you describe in the wiki what the difference is between the installers?

Everybody should use Bluefish-2.2.1-setup.exe except windows 2000 users?
