I added the options adv_textview_right_margin: and
adv_textview_left_margin: to rcfile-2.0 in subversion. Please test if
this does what you like.

Could you please provide a link to a pre-compiled for Windows?

I have just installed this latest build. Frankly, I can't tell if
there was a difference with the previous build I had installed, and I
cannot compare the two because the new installation removed the
previous one.
Did you implement the padding at the margin with a fixed number of
pixels, or did you give the user the option of setting the number of
pixels.
Sorry for not providing a more definite answer, but I don't see much difference.
It would be nice if the user could decide how many pixels are left
empty for padding.
