Hi,

Just wanted to highlight, that there is an issue with the Windows
installation, that is repeatedly reported (almost a dozen times).
Because the crash can happen at any time, IMO this can be a real
showstopper. I hope you find a fix for this. I'm of no help for any
Windows related issues anymore :)

Hi all,
I just want to add few observations. I have used bluefish on WinXP in the
past (with 2.2.3-2.2.4), and can confirm that there were mysterious crashes
typically after ~1 hour of running or more frequently. Since nothing
changed since then, I would suspect that the cause of this is outdated
gtk+2 stack that we are still using. Backtraces that were submitted to
bugzilla shows that cairo is probable cause.
Now I am using bluefish 2.2.6 for MacOSX and I am running bf for week
without any crashes. MacOSX port uses gtk+3.6.4 with dozen of patches to
fix various issues.
I think for windows we have to use more recent version of gtk. I could not
tell which one, but probably someone with more experience in building gtk+
for windows can give some advice.
