Hi,
I lost the left panel horizontal scroll bar.

I update my slack to 1.4:
gcc 4.8.2
gtk 3.8.2
glib 2.36.4
it can be related to this...

I am using gtk+3.6.4 and do not have issues. I a have noticed that the higher gtk+3 version the more buggy treeview is..

which scroll bar are you referring to?
the main panel is also affected, this is true for all tabs in left pannel,
except for info browser.

If You had it with lower version of gtk+3 but it is missing after upgrade to 3.8.2, this should be an gtk+ issue.
You can make sure by running gtk3-demo (should be compiled executable in bin directory). There is treeview->TreeStore widget. By adjusting its size there should appear horizontal scrolling bar automatically.

And in bluefish, when You adjust sidebar width, scroll bar does not appear automatically?

In Bluefish left panel horizontal scroll bar does not appear for:
Snippets, Charmap and Info Browser,
it works for:
Filebrowser and Bookmarks.
For the edit area I can't reproduce the lack of the scroll bar...
