works for me with an already installed gtk-2.14 (with the
side-bar-crash-bug).

Is it possible to upgrade the gtk version that we use? Will it work with
gtk-2.24 (is there a win32 build for gtk-2.24 available somewhere)?

Hello I just wanted to republish my earlier message and ask to forward it
to the project's manager please:

My name is Roy Silverman, I have downloaded Bluefish editor and found it
very efficient and easy to understand.

I am working as a partnership manager in a company that generates Browser
based solutions for software development companies.

I would like to offer that our Development team will create a browser based
solution that will include a quick launch button to Bluefish and a few
links that will assist users to understand it better and faster.

I truly believe that this can serve as a great boost to Bluefish's User
experience.

We also have several business models that can generate new revenues for
your operation.

Would you like to schedule a call \ chat in order to discuss the options ?

Kind regards,

Hello YSLandro

I understand your concern :) , our business is still new and because we are
also distributing generic toolbars with some of our business models we are
seeing negative feedback from some users.

The solution I am offering is completely customized to create a more
seamless experience with Bluefish for your users.

In addition, We have a Truste certification which you can view at :
http://www.truste.com/privacy_seals_and_services/enterprise_privacy/trusted_download_whitelist

You can find Somoto and Filebuldog ( Our registered feed ) on the white
list.

We will also provide you with accurate instructions on how to remove the
application ( Basically click remove on the add \ remove panel ) for you to
put in your FAQ's and other support resources ( Which will also be
available on the application we offer ) .

As for references for our solutions and the level of integrations we offer
you can view and contact :
http://www.hyperionics.com/

http://www.nchsoftware.com/
http://www.vuze.com/

And more... ( please let me know if you need more examples)

Thanks for your quick correspondence.

Our home page is still in its initial phase... At the beginning we thought
that our main business will come from generic toolbars. Along the way we
have understood that customization is the key and we have developed very
deep integration solutions for some of our partners.

I fully understand that our home page can deliver a mixed or one
dimensional message and we are working on changing it but I assure you that
if you will choose to work with us on a fully customizable solution we will
provide your users with a much seamless experience that will look and feel
like an extension of your software on the browser.

It marks parts of the word as misspelled instead of
looking at the whole word. In other words as you
type it detects it as being misspelled, and as you
finish the word it does not recheck, and continues
to show part of the word as misspelled.

Matthias, can you provide a regular rpm for fedora
so that I can test it to compare? Shouldn't regular
rpms be provided to the public instead of source rpms?

The language is En US.

Open up Bluefish, click on the quick start button to
enter the quickstart code in the page, then type
"this is a test".

the section on Fedora seems to be a bit contradictory: to get 2.0.3 you
use `yum install bluefish`, to get 2.2.0 you also use `yum install
bluefish`. So which version is installed if you use yum install bluefish?

That depends on the Fedora version.
For F15 2.0.3, for F16 2.2.0 will be installed.

The command to install it is same always.

If yum gui is used users can see and select / install any of the
available versions.

perhaps you have more/better dictionaries available on Fedora? Perhaps
libenchant is compiled with more spell backends on Fedora?
